Thursday, December 31st 2009 new link.
I am now tracking my personal development metrics on
Daytum, and have added it to the
Links page. I hope to be as consistent with it as possible during 2010.
Happy new year!
Wednesday, December 23rd 2009 update.
New
shop added.
I will no longer be using Etsy to sell my print merchandise. Instead, please check my new shop hosted by the much simpler
Big Cartel platform. I plan on adding more new prints in early 2010...
In the future I will be integrating the shop within this site's HTML for a more cohesive feel, but this will do for now.
I know you guys want a print! ...ehhh? ...ehhhh?
Thursday, December 17th 2009 tweaks.
A couple of minor adjustments: new home page background, fading in after it loads... and a "Content loading, please wait..." message on each of the project index pages, as a reminder that there are more images still loading off screen.
Sunday, December 13th 2009 updates.
Under the
Objects category, added the projects
Pinhole Cameras and
Landscape Interventions.
Tuesday, November 24th 2009 IE bug fixed.
Apparently Internet Explorer doesn't like it when you try to style its default scrollbars... and don't even think about using Javascript to control multiple APdiv's and images in the same line inside a scrolling container, that's bad too.
I can't actually fix the browser itself, so as a work around I just told Internet Explorer to ignore that script, and told it to display a link to download Mozilla Firefox. So if you see a red message above this news box, it means you aren't getting the full experience of the site (change browsers). If you don't see any red text, you're fine.
Hopefully this is the end of the tweaking and I can move on to getting content up...
Monday, November 23rd 2009 site launch. everything is new!
It took quite a while for the code to mature. After some painful scripting work and lots of experiments, my first website is up and running, working relatively smoothly across Safari and Firefox. Right now the scrolling galleries don't work in Internet Explorer or Opera for whatever reason, and if you are using either of those browsers I recommend navigating with the
Tree page until I can work out a fix. The site is best viewed in Safari, for the most accurate color and type rendering. Also, I suggest enabling Javascript if you haven't already, since some small features around the site won't display without it...
As for the content, I will be uploading more projects as time goes on, so please continue to check back here for updates. This space remains a work in progress as I'm always learning and making new things. Right now I've finished the
Information,
Contact, and
Blog categories, as well as a few sporadic projects in the others (refer to the
Tree), so go ahead and explore. If you want to give me some feedback, that would be super helpful see
Contact for how to reach me.
